The Martial Art of Open-Source

Ever since being an Open-Sourcer i've also been applying my most underestimated subconscious talent. Paranoia. Now just today over at /. Microsoft is said to have submitted a license to the OSI. As allways i expect these guys to be awake, and they're very likely to be.

Microsoft turning Open-Source, pfew, what's next ? Bush proclaiming communism isn't such a bad thing after all ?

But now for the Martial-Arts part. In the eastern, and probably other, Martial Arts it is considered advantageous to use the force of the opponent against this very opponent. So instead of scrambling all it's muscle to get their own XML-document format approved in virtually no-time they'd simply be able to open-source their product and use the same userbase to get their gospel spread, again.

... i must think a bit more on what to write next ... but i'm getting there
